Because
we have both Military and Non-Military customers, we also have
two separate test areas.
The test area for military production incorporates a DITMCO
tester. Every harness or assembly is 100% electrically tested
for continuity under a live load.
Our non-military customers can expect that the same high
quality standards and requirements will be met on their products.
The only noticeable difference between the two production,
test and inspection areas relate to the amount of paperwork
that is demanded by the military.
Once the harness or assembly has passed this requirement,
it is moved to the final inspection area where every detail
of the customer's requirements are reviewed. Items such as
labels, tags, bundling and backshells are scrutinized to
assure absolute quality to industry standards and customer
specifications. Inspection of the connectors takes place
to make certain there are no recessed contacts or missing
sealing plugs.
